Main fields of research and expertise
Anthony Foucher obtained his PhD in 2015 at the University of Tours (France). Since 2020 he is researcher at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement (LSCE, France). Anthony investigates sedimentary archives collected downstream of areas impacted by human activities to reconstruct (over the last 70 years) the resilience of terrestrial ecosystems and hydrosystems to these pressures (e.g. reconstruction of soil erosion, biodiversity changes, contaminants trajectory). He is particularly interested in regions of the world impacted by agricultural intensification/expansion where soil and water resources may be threatened.
