Main fields of research and expertise
Claude MUGLER‘s research is focused on modelling and numerical simulation for the understanding of complex phenomena in Fluid Mechanics in natural environments. She is particularly interested in the small-scale processes that drive surface and subsurface flows, tracer and sediment transport, and heat exchange. This theoretical approach is supported by experimental data from collaborations with colleagues from different research organizations (IRD, IPGP, Université d’Orsay). She obtained in 2012 her “Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches” at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin, France.
