Main fields of research and expertise
Olivier Ribolzi is senior researcher at the French Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD). Hydro-geochemist with the GET laboratory, he has conducted interdisciplinary projects since over 25 years in semi-arid regions (Burkina Faso, 5 years) and humid tropics (Laos, 8 years), and is member of the coordination team of the critical zone observatory M-TROPICS since 2010. The main objective of his work is to understand the impact of LU / LUC on the hydro-sedimentary response and transfer of pathogenic bacteria in agro-ecosystems. He has published 80 articles in WoS-indexed international journals (1686 citations, h-index 26), and supervised 24 PhDs and of 32 Msc students.
